Remembering Christ’s Sacrifice…Together

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” Luke 22: 19-20

The first Sunday in October is World Communion Sunday. This year on October 2, Christians across many denominations and movements around the world will take part in communion during their worship gatherings. By participating in World Communion Sunday, we remember Christ’s sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins and celebrate with all of our brothers and sisters in Christ across the globe the unity we have in Him.
