Hoodview Church of God will host the Salem Singers in concert on Sunday, September 25 @ 6:00 p.m. Founded in 1948, this group of Christian men has been committed to use their vocal gifts not only to sing “thanks” to God, but to touch the lives of all who listen to their message of God’s love. They have toured extensively through the years and have recorded more than 22 albums. The current group is comprised of 14 members from seven different church affiliations, from Portland to Eugene, while most are from the greater Salem area. The concert will feature a wide variety of music, from southern gospel music, to traditional hymns and contemporary selections. The concert is free. A free-will offering will be received. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
