Inuit Carved Soapstone Turtle Menu candleholders Use it with a flowerThis sweet carved soapstone turtle seems to me a wonderful little thing to keep on one's desk or shelf as a reminder to take your time I really can't imagine a truer embodiment of slowness. The stone is a greenish gray, and the carving very simple, with incised round eyes on either side of the head and a shell pattern on his back.
